Day One

Scene One: Linger at the Lodge

Begin your morning with a buffet-style breakfast at the Aspen Dining and then swing by the Rustic Café nestled in the Administration Building for a cup of hot cocoa. Find a cozy spot by the crackling fire where you can relax and get ready for the exciting adventures ahead.

Scene Two: Winter Wonderland Adventures

Visit the Boone Family Mountain Center to pick up micro spikes or snowshoes for your whole family ($10/person/day). Our knowledgeable staff will guide you to the best trails offering stunning views and suitable terrain for your winter adventure. Whether you opt for a hike, a snowshoe trek, or some sledding fun, expect a breathtaking start to your weekend.

Scene Three: Stroll in Town

Take a break and head into the picturesque downtown Estes Park. Explore the charming shops and restaurants on Elkhorn Avenue, including several festive Christmas stores. Stick around long enough to mosey through the enchanting light display Bond Park!

Day Two

Scene One: Craft Your Own Holiday Keepsakes
Check out the Mootz Family Craft & Design Center to craft a keepsake of your own or as a gift!  Try glass fusion, ceramics painting, jewelry, silk painting and so much more, all with a holiday touch!

Scene Two: Ice Skating Extravaganza

Continue your Hallmark story with a picturesque outdoor ice-skating experience. Pick up a pair of ice skates from the Sweet Memorial Program Building and make your way to Dorsey Lake, the ice rink nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

Wrap up your Hallmark weekend with a heartwarming finale: gooey s’mores and fireside tales under the starlit sky at the Y.
