Through faith based programs and activities, The YMCA of the Rockies Chapel Ministry seeks to create a culture that is spiritually engaging, safe and respectful of all.
Worship in the Rockies is a regular part of our ministry and contact with staff and guests. We host a non-denominational church service every Sunday at 10:00am. We worship in Hyde Chapel during the summer months, as well as during the season of advent and on special holidays such as Easter. During the rest of the year we worship in Ponder Chapel, located in the Legett Christian Center. We would love for you to come and join us for Worship in the Rockies!
In addition to weekly services, the Chapel Ministry also hosts bible studies, worship hikes, campfire sing-a-longs, special interest classes, and many other opportunities that are spiritually engaging. And with 2 full time Chaplains on staff, our ministry can help you with weddings, baptisms, memorial services, youth group retreat planning, private events and services, and much more!
Check with us to see what we’re offering! Our schedule of events changes every week. Please contact Chaplain Rev. Greg Bunton at

Snow Mountain Ranch
Snow Mountain Ranch (SMR) is located in a more remote area of Colorado, known as the Fraser Valley, near Granby and Winter Park. In the winter, SMR is home to one of the largest Nordic ski areas in the country, with over 100 km of trails on the 5000-acre property. Winters at SMR can last up to eight months, but for winter enthusiasts, there is no place like it, with days and days of powder. In the summertime, SMR is surrounded by back-country forests and trails, with opportunities to get your boots or wheels in the dirt for many hours of fun.
The Y’s Mission
YMCA of the Rockies puts Christian Principles into practice through programs, staff and facilities in an environment that builds healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
We will accomplish this by serving conferences of a religious, educational, or recreational nature; providing unifying experiences for families; offering traditional summer camping experiences for boys and girls; and serving our staff with leadership opportunities and productive work experiences.
Together we can do so much more. Please support our Mission.

We go to Estes Park every year (sometimes twice) and this is the first time we stayed at the YMCA of the Rockies. It's a perfect place for families with all the amenities and programs available. It's minutes from RMNP so you don't have to drive through the "traffic" in town. They provide guided hikes, there's a stable on the grounds with awesome hard-working wranglers, there's a pool, miniature golf, programs for kids of all ages from 2 to 92, and so much more! We stayed in a small cabin that was fully equipped and met our needs as a family with small children. YMCA of the Rockies is husband- and kid-approved, and it will be the only place we'll stay in Estes Park from now on. Connect with Us
