Environmental Education classes at Estes Park Center are designed to follow the “Learning Cycle” framework developed by the BEETLES Institute from the University of California at Berkeley. Students learn by engaging directly with nature, thinking like a scientist, learning through discussions, and participating in inclusive, equitable, and culturally relevant learning environments.
