Board games, coloring, and some of the coolest animal bones you’ve ever seen! A fun place to hang out with the family where everyone can find their own way to play inside.
Located in the basement of Sweet Memorial, the Game Room has ping pong, table shuffleboard, Foosball, billiards, and more. Yet another great indoor location to keep the fun rolling!
We have more than 15,000 volumes including current bestsellers, classics and a delightful children’s library at the Maude Jellison Library, located on the slope behind the Administration Building and Hyde Chapel.
Bring your skates and head over to the Bob Ecker Roller Rink! Open during the fall, spring and winter months, the skating rink is located in the Longhouse Building. Skates are provided and roller blades are welcome. Available for use at no charge.
Longhouse Gymnasium – Basketball & Volleyball
When it is too cold to play on our outdoor sand volleyball or basketball courts, check out our indoor facilities in the Longhouse Gym. Bring your own gear or find balls to use in the gym. Open during the fall, winter and spring seasons.
When the weather outside is frightful, go for a dip in the indoor pool! Our 25 yard indoor pool is heated to a toasty 83 degrees year-round. Don’t forget to try out the fun slide!
Whether you’re an old-timer or first-timer, the Dorsey Museum has something for you. Housed in a 1924 guest lodge, the museum features several period room settings and display galleries. There is also a 1905 log tourist cabin and two-bedroom cabin depicting accommodations from 1949. Bird lovers are invited to enjoy watching our feathered friends at our feeders.
Craft and Design Center
We offer a wide variety of projects for kids ages 2 to 102 at the Craft and Design Center! Check out the wood and leather crafts, the jewelry area with thousands of beads, glazed and painted ceramics, tie dye and our seasonal crafts: silk painting, glass fusing & basket making, which are usually open for 10 weeks during the summer.
Indoor Climbing Wall
The indoor rock wall at the Mountain Center Building has a climbs ranging in difficulty from easy to challenging! Enjoy the additional bouldering wall to practice your rock climbing skills!
