Strategic Plan

Because of you, 2022 was a year of growth and rebirth. Global events happening now and in recent years emphasize how our world needs purpose-driven organizations like YMCA of the Rockies more than ever. With confidence in the future, we launched a strategic plan to better impact the communities we serve. The plan is comprised of the following pillars:

  • Mission Growth and Experience
  • Attract, Engage, and Retain Staff
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Technology

This comprehensive plan sets the stage for new programs and builds upon work from previous years. Accomplishments from this past year include:

  • Launching the Beverly K. Booe Early Childhood Program to meet a critical community need for childcare in the Estes Valley
  • Laying 10,000 feet of fiber optic cable to improve access to high-speed Internet across Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch
  • Sending 10 staff and volunteer delegates to represent YMCA of the Rockies at YMCA’s World Council Meeting in Aarhus, Denmark
  • Hiring our first Environmental Sustainability Director to lead the development of a sustainability action plan

We are immensely grateful to you — our donors, staff, volunteers, community leaders, and friends. None of these achievements would have been possible without your unwavering and dedication to our transformative mission
