Lula Dorsey Museum

Welcome to the Dorsey Museum.  Housed in a 1924 guest lodge, the museum features several period room settings, exhibition galleries, and a relaxing wrap-around porch complete with porch swing.
During the summer months, our two historical cabins, located behind the museum, are open for viewing. Last admission to the museum and cabins is 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. 

Admission is free, but donations are always welcome to ensure the preservation of our stories, historical artifacts and institutional archives.

In addition we offer year-round programming, including historical walking tours of the property focusing on the rich history of YMCA of the Rockies and family programs. Check the activity guide for more information.

Visits to the Alumni Cabin – Purple Finch
While you will still be able to visit and reminisce over our alumni scrapbooks and photographs, we are working on a multi-year preservation project of this fascinating and important collection, and some books may not be available for viewing. Please call ahead to see if your year is available. Reservations to visit the Alumni Cabin can be made on the following days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We ask you make a reservation at least a day in advance to ensure the books are available.
