Covid-19 Updates

February 01, 2022

YMCA of the Rockies is committed to providing you a fun and safe experience.

YMCA of the Rockies strives to provide high-quality guest experiences: In order to do so, we may have to make difficult operational decisions. Limited staff availability may result in the closure, or reduced hours of some of our activities and services. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the wave of this next variant.

Guest Safety Guidelines and Practices

Consistent with the guidelines and requirements of our local counties, and to protect the health of our guests and staff, YMCA of the Rockies is taking specific COVID precautions.

We ask that all guests and staff demonstrate the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith toward each other as we all navigate these changes.

Masks

Guests and staff who are fully vaccinated (defined as both vaccines and the booster) are not required to wear masks indoors. Unvaccinated guests and staff, immunocompromised guests and staff, anyone with a known COVID exposure, and anyone who is more comfortable wearing a mask are all strongly encouraged to continue wearing a mask in indoor spaces.

Cleaning Protocols

YMCA of the Rockies is also committed to enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures. These cleaning protocols are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and state and local public health officials.

All public areas of YMCA of the Rockies buildings are deeply sanitized on a regular basis using hospital-grade EPA-approved agents and virus eliminating chemicals.

Towels and linens can be exchanged at the guest laundry facilities. For lodge room guests, most supplies for your room are available on tables in the lodge lobbies. If you need something not supplied on the tables, you can call the Housekeeping Office for assistance.
