Deferred Giving
A Gift by Will
One simple way to remember the YMCA of the Rockies is to include us in your will. By all means take care of your family first. But when you start thinking of charities that have made a difference in your life and the lives of your family, please remember us. Many of our supporters have left a bequest of a specific amount or a percentage of their estate. The federal government allows an unlimited estate tax charitable deduction for gifts to the YMCA of the Rockies and other qualified charitable organizations.

A Gift of Appreciated Securities
Donors who contribute appreciated securities held for more than one year may get a double tax benefit. They may be able to deduct the full fair market value (instead of the lower cost basis) and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.

"The generosity of other families made facilities available for our family to use...and so we really like the idea of being able to offer facilities for other families to use. This is a wonderful opportunity to give something back and to have a place available for us." Jack Willome, donor of 5 cabins and a meeting facility at Estes Park Center and 3 cabins at Snow Mountain Ranch.
