Estes Park Center Renovation
For Generations to Come
A guest-focused renovation plan four years in the making is beginning to change the landscape of the Estes Park Center!
26 buildings are being taken down behind the Ruesch Auditorium (including the old Buildings and Grounds office, Fern Odessa dorm and many staff houses) to make room for three new lodges and a conference center. The Ruesch Auditorium and dining facility will also get a makeover.
The renovation comes just after the YMCA of the Rockies Centennial, and will serve generations to come.
The plan and subsequent construction will:
- Allow the YMCA of the Rockies to update lodging facilities to better meet guest expectations;
- Give conferences a more centralized location to hold meetings;
- Offer family reunions updated facilities for their family fun;
- Preserve East Side lodging for youth groups;
- Eventually use one East Side lodge for improved staff housing.
