Executive Staff
M. Kent Meyer, President/CEO
Kent began his YMCA career in high school as a camp counselor for Camp Carson in Indiana. He also served as Director of Camp Hope, Director of Camp Chief Ouray, Center Director of Snow Mountain Ranch, and became President/CEO of the Association in 2001. Kent has his B.A. in Secondary Education, his M.A. in history, and is a Retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He is active in the Presbyterian Church and enjoys spending time with his wife Betty, their two children, and their two grandchildren.
Jill Anderson, Director of Financial Development
Jill's passion for fundraising began as a volunteer nearly 15 years ago. After many years in Southern Colorado, Jill came to the YMCA of the Rockies in the spring of 2007. While attending the University of Northern Colorado, Jill met and married Bill, her husband of twenty years. Her favorite pass times include being with 13 year old daughter Ivy, reading, and being outside with her family.
Annual Giving
Courtney Hill, Director of Donor Relations
Courtney joined the program department of the YMCA of the Rockies in 2004 and joined the financial development team in 2007. Before that, she received her B.S. from Colorado State University and spent two years in the Americorps before becoming director of a youth mentoring program. She and her husband Kelly have a 5-year-old son Peyton and a 4 year-old daughter Bree who take up the majority of her time. In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Plannned Giving
David Alexander, Planned Giving Officer
David Alexander has recently joined our development staff as the Planned Giving Officer. Prior to joining our team David worked several years for a large international charity as a Planned Giving Representative. In addition to his planned giving experience David has an extensive Sales and Marketing background and spent nearly ten years serving as a Senior Pastor. David and his wife Florence have seven children ages ranging from 18 to 8. While having seven kids doesn’t leave much time for hobbies he does enjoy motorcycling and bird hunting with his three sons.
Alumni Relations
Lulie Melton Alumni Association Coordinator
Lulie was born into a YMCA of the Rockies family and has spent summers here since she was a baby. She recently retired from 30 years as a professional educator and is excited to be back full-time at her first true love- the YMCA. She has been very involved preserving the history of the YMCA of the Rockies and has written publications on the 75th and 100th anniversary as well as coordinating events for the Centennial Celebration in 2007. She and her husband Jack pursue an active lifestyle hiking, biking and exploring the southwest in their RV.
Camp Chief Ouray

Marty Ferguson, Camp Director
Marty has been with the Camp Chief Ouray Family since 1995 and was promoted to Director in October of 2003. An avid skier and former math teacher, Marty is the Vice President for
Lula W. Dorsey Museum
Jack Melton, Museum Director
Jack, a former Dallas school teacher, was first introduced to the YMCA of the Rockies in 1969. He and his wife Lulie, moved to Estes Park full-time in1980. In addition to establishing the Lula W. Dorsey Museum, Jack has also worked with alumni, financial devlopment, membership and IT. Jack and Lulie enjoying hiking, biking and traveling.
