Rags & Leathers Program

Camp Chief Ouray’s Rags and Leathers Program is designed to help campers and staff grown in spirit, mind and body. 

This is done through personal goal setting and commitment, mentorship and action steps.  This growth is further encouraged through meaningful symbolism and thoughtful ceremony. 

Campers must be at least 9-years-old to participate in the Leathers Program and 12-years-old to participate in the Rags Program. 

There are three Leathers (Triangle, Square and Circle) and seven Rags (Blue, Silver, Brown, Gold, Red, Purple and White).
